No room in facebook
Some things just have to be written in the long form and no room to explain in facebook. My latest!!I go get hospice for the church Mon,tues and wed. Went today and had it all loaded and here came a woman out the back door and sat another bag down. It was smallish and I was afraid it would blow out so put it in the back seat of the jeep. When I went to deliver, I tried to pull the bag out between the front seats and it didn’t want to come thru. So I gave a biiiiiig jank and the blasted thing came out of there like a rocket/ had a glass candle in it and it whipped up and whacked my elbow!! I would’ve given 5 bucks for someone to have said a really foul word for me. And here about 8 hours later it still smarts pretty good. Went to see Tina this evening and for once Kayla was there with the baby. What a cutie. 4 months old and strong as a little ox. She is just the least bit spoiled/ but she will snarl 2 or 3 times and give you a little warning that something is not suiting her. She is a little scarce on the hair dept on top but it is about 2 inches long in the back. I think it has a little reddish sheen to it but Tina or Kayla don’t see it/ but to me it is about the color of Franks when he was born. She smiles alot when things are going well but when she is sleepy she will definitely wail for you.She sure recognizes Tina and Kayla too.But she decided she liked me too!!We have a new pup. Polly. Why is it that I can remember who said what 20 years ago, but I can’t seem to remember that pups chew things/ and want in the house every time the door opens/ and jumps on your sofa with muddy feet before you can catch her and and and~~~~.But who ooohs and aaaahs when she sees a 4 month old beagle/ that would be me.Who gripes and groans when she has to get a baby sitter come vacation time/that would be me/who told Larry there will be nothing else in this family that eats or poops? that would be me. But she is cute and funny. She barks and scares herself!!.Ok time to go check my farm on facebook. I have a garden on there that is ready to be harvested!

Oh for Pete’s sake!!
I don’t have a clue why it has taken me so long to post. I enjoy reading everyone else’s but just can’t get myself going to do my own. I am doing very well with my diet. Not as well as I’d like,of course. If I were doing that well, I would already have the other 7 pounds off that I want to lose.I am sore all over. I have really lost some muscle tone this year and yes I know that at 62 I am allowed, but I am not losing it due to my age. Losing it due to not using it. Went to get into the back of the truck the other day and needed a boost!! Got into the pool today and did some “water aerobics” and now, if I have anything that doesn’t hurt, I don’t know what it is. Scotty,Tam, Marguerite and Dave are here, and I am loving it. But have had to sleep with Larry and that is a whole nuther story! Scotty snores,Dave kicks and Larry has nightmares! He twitches and jumps all night long, but tonight he took it to a whole new level! I had already gotten pretty relaxed once and he jumped and I was instantly alert, because he has whacked me in his sleep before. But he calmed right back down, so I am getting pretty relaxed and he screamed like a banshee, scared the crap right out of me. Scared me so badly that I had an instant headache.So even tho I don’t want to be, here I am on the pc at whatever in the heck time it is.Tam and Marguerite are sleeping in the living room and I am trying not to wake them, so what did I do stumbling around in the dark? Tripped over the cooler and about broke my neck, luckily for me , with my natural grace, (that’s a good one) I only clunked my shin. And tomorrow they will all razz me about staying up all night on the computer.grrrr I do envy people who can lay down,go to sleep and stay asleep. Went down and saw Harold today. He is down from, I think he said 22o , to 185.He is about to work himself to death on that house, but the kitchen floor and ceiling look so good. Now he has the laundry room completely empty and is working in there. Of course everything in the utility room is in the dining room or on the patio and seating was at a premium.Nothing new in my immediate family, but Allie,Gregs daughter is going to have a baby. Marguerite was not overjoyed. And that is enuff for this time.

Beautiful Florida Again
I have been so sick of the cold weather. Was beginning to think that I was only dreaming that I lived in Florida. Then yesterday!! Was just gorgeous. 78 degrees,slight breeze, sun shining and I came out of hibernation. I think I have that disease that makes you sick if you don’t get sunshine. I’d like to lay it off on that anyhow.Went to Kayla’s shower Sunday at Tonie’s house. We had a good time but would’ve been better if we had invited everyone we intended. I forgot to send Tina Rhonda and Kellys’ addy and we forgot to invite the twins.Are you believing they are 14 now?Crystal was there with Trevor and Cameron/ that Trevor is just a love. I get such a kick out of him. Tonie had baked some cookies and she gave Trevor and another little girl one a piece. They wanted another and Tonie said,” I believe you’ve had enuff for now.” Trev said” I believe I need another one>” He is 4. He is dark headed and dark blue eyes. Cameron is going to be the lighter hair and eyes like Crystal. And my goodness, what a set of jaws on that boy! We were putting cake icing on his pacie. Kathy was there with Samanth.(aka May May)She is getting her new house set up and she didn’t let “Mister” move in with her. They’ve offered Frank 7 yrs but don’t know what he will get.Do any of you read Sandra Browns books? She is a good author(uses too many bad words) but I can never figure out the twist her books take.I hate it when I know what is gonna happen.Ok that is enuff for now. Hugs and kisses.

Some of dis and a little of dat
OMG I have been so sick. If I have ever been this sick before ,I sure don’t remember it. It was worse than having a baby, and I do know all about that. It started at about 2 am Sunday morning with diarrhea,and shortly progressed to vomiting,then on to drive heaves. The most painful drive heaves, I never dreamed existed. First of all there were like 5 or 6 just rolling in one after the other. No time to even catch your breath, and each one produced painful racking contrating in every muscle in my body at the same time. My legs, back, stomache,shoulders,even my neck would constrict, with every bout. Then I was in the bath room and started sweating like a wrestler,I mean instantly sweat pouring and pjs soaked. Then I got dizzy and thought I was gonna faint,no,make that knew, I was gonna faint.SO I put my head down,didn’t work.So I decided I could make it to the sofa. Wrong. I staggered out of the bath room ,and as I was going out, I remember falling forward and whapping my head on the door frame. I yelled for Larry and immediately went to throwing up,right where I lay.Thank goodness, there was a throw rug there. I ate nothing Sunday, just juice and water. I ate a half cup of soup, monday and a chicken patty sandwich,didn’t keep either of them down. Monday I managed to quit throwing up, and kept a grilled cheese sandwich and a shake down.Today I feel sooo much better but have the strength of a piss ant. I guess I should add that Larry went thru all of this before I did,even the painful spasms. He was getting well, when I went down.Told him if he had anything else to give me,give me something different than that , I wasn’t wild about that little gift. On a different note, Tonie and Tina are hosting a shower for Kayla,Feb 8th. For those of you who don’t know, she is having a little girl, and I think the name is going to be Alexa. Not sure if it is Alexa or Alexia. Crystal’s little boy Trevor is an absolute doll, and I haven’t seen Cameron yet. He is 6 months old and they live in Jax.The weather is absolutely gorgeous this week, but hear we are in for more cold over the week end.

Whose bright idea was it?
Well, balderdash!!! that is as close as I’ll let myself get to some good old fashioned “cussin.’ But got fitty cent here for some one who wants to throw in a couple of good ones for me. I forgot to call in my weight this week but was up to 150.5 and bettin I’m still climbin.Lisa is as bad as Ann about that Christmas baking, but she don’t want to eat it because,uh, it has sugar and it’s not healthy, so who is she trying to knock off? Yep, me. I’ve been up to me arse in cookies, (eagle brand condensed milk) dessert bars w/ oh lets see. Coconut,chocolate chips, nuts,oatmeal /raisin cookies.Sugar cookies. I held out for 3 or 4 days and took them to choir practise and to our christmas dinner, and then I just gave up. Larry had to go to the store last night and I put in a “small”request for a butterfinger and a pepsi. Then at wally world today he got 2 count em 2!! boxes of yeast doughnuts. I made it till after he went to bed and then I was up to my arse in cookies and up to my elbows in doughnuts. With all of those chocolate covered ones/I’m subject to looking like Sambo, were I to smile! Oh and I forgot, Lisa tried out this new recipe on me. Chocolate dipped Ichow mein noodles with peanuts in them, and chocolate fudge and peanut butter cookies. I bought her some red hots to decorate with and she said she got into the wine the other night and put red hots for the angels eyes on the cookies and said she looked scared to death. And got the giggles. Anyone who knows lisa knows that she doesn’t need another living soul around to have a full blown conversation and a good giggle with.Would imgine if that angel cookie could talk/she’d have a story to tell. Yep/a jug of wine and a batch of cookies and she’s good to go.

Light at the end of the tunnel
Yeah,right.Altho I will be finished with the kids Christmas program,sunday, I still will have the adults to finish up.I got the jingle bell bracelets finished yesterday, and finishing up their megaphones today. I do still have to hang the curtain, and set the stage. We are going to do a walk thru friday/ so I can see what all I have forgotten, and knowing me there will be plenty.I have the church decorated and want to hang the curtain today/ but have to look at the weather/remember our church is still meeting in 2 double car garages.Speaking of which, I have a request to make. I have asked everyone who buys gifts for larry and I not to buy a gift. I have asked them to make out a small check to us and designate it to the building fund. I would rather get into our new church than to have a new house coat or perfume. And for those of you who read this that don’t exchange gifts with me/ if you would like to do a charitable act, I’d sure appreciate it No matter the amt you can send,it will buy a light bulb/or nails/or a board/ just whatever. We are so broke this year, that we aren’t buying gifts/ just going to give a small check to the church building fund. In advance thank you so much for what ever you can do. Chad is in Mayo in Jacksonville. Gary said he may get to come home today if nothing unseen happens. He said he had lost so much weight. He had to go back to Mayo next week after the Drs have gotten all of the test results back. For those of you who don’t know Mom had a pace maker installed yesterday. They took her by ambulance to the hospital tues night and they shipped her on to Indy. Scotty, Marguerite, Sue , all of them left their phone #’s for them to call if anything was going to be done. They didn’t call anyone and mom was there by herself when they did the surgery. That is so wrong. They said according to the privacy act they didn’t have to call anyone. Guess they have never heard of courtesy calls. Gary is in Coco today but heading back to Texas sunday. Harold is coming up this week end/ don’t know if he is coming for a purpose or not/ but sure Lisa will find something for him to do. He is supposed to build her a chicken pen/ but don’t know if that is this trip or not.Channing got beat up/ well actually he didn’t/ he kicked the other boys butt, but the other boy got in 3 or 4 licks and he had a big ring on that ripped Channings face. It’s a long story but a short version/ this kid kept beating channings friend up, and came back to do it again/and channing told him”you’ve already kicked his *&^* why don’t you leave him alone. Guess the boy called channing some not so nice names. Supposedly channing told him to go on several times, and after enuff of it told the boy to meet him in the parking lot. That boy went and got another boy to do his fighting for him/ and the other boy got in a few licks that tore Channings face but after channing got thru the other boy was hauling butt. Last i heard the cops were getting involved and haven’t heard how that turned out. Tonie has had her share of it. A drunk they know came and got them out of bed, because he was stuck and wanted Darrell to pull him out. Darrell wasn’t gonna go, but the guys 80 yr old mom was with him/so tonie talked him in to going. Then when he got down there to pull the drunk out/ he turned on darrell and was gonna beat darrells new truck up. Again the cops were called. And haven’t heard how that turned out either. Went to see Dee in jail and told her I thought I needed to go to jail to get a vacation/ she said go slug a guard/ you’ll be right in here. I changed my tune aabout that one. We are finally getting some much needed rain here. It has been so dry/ I have just sneezed and coughter my fool head off. Then we had a freeze last week, got down to almost 20. And we wonder why everyone around here is sick. Got my flu shot/happy about that.. Better get busy love you all

Gotta plate full
Anyone who knows me, knows I can’t chew gum and ride a bike. So first of all,here is why I am about half nuts now. I have adult choir and kids choir and on vision team at church. I just finished pastor appreciation month program,have Thanksgiving program and Christmas program coming up. Only the adults for Thanksgiving thank the Lord. I print and make the adults choir books, and making Christmas ornaments with the kids for the Christmon tree at church. If you don’t know what a Christmon tree is research it, really neat. I just finished another yard sale for the church and in the middle of having a stuff a bag for a dollar sale which also all goes to building our church. We pick up donations from hospice in ocala 3 days a week, somedays I am lucky and others go pick it up for me. Somedays not so lucky. Yesterday the back of the truck was totally full and strapped down and Larry is still not well enuff to pick up much. For those of you who don’t know he is healing from hernia surgery.He is healing well but not rapidly. Margie and Delbert, my friends from Ind, came and visited and what a good visit we had. But as always never enuff time.The whole ordeal is almost over with the closing of Bill’s estate. I have the kids’s final check and have the papers that have to be signed and sent to the judge,as soon as I get them notarized. Now do you think I have enuff on my plate? Now that I have explained what has caused my state of mind i will tell you my latest. I was in my chicken with it’s head cut off mode, girls coming to help me w/yard sale/dishes not done/ want them done before the girls get here/not dressed or teeth brushed/ stressing pretty good/ pulled my bloomers down and backed up to the couch!!!! I am so greatful for 2 things/one that Larry wasn’t in here and two that I didn’t letter rip!!I watched a program on Alz last night and so far I think larry is safe (but I was taking those tests right along w/ the other little old ladies on it)Scotty and the gang are headed down here tonight and I am TAKING A BREAK FROM THE WORLD when they get here. maybe lol that’s enuff for now love u all

Good grief Charlie
We went to Wally World yesterday.Larry headed for the groceries,I went to turn in prescriptions. My part took no time at all,so I got Tonie a birthday card,and went to the grocery section,to find Mr Keene.Ok, I admit it.I got hung up on the candy aisle. For crying out load, There they were in all of their glory! Candy corn,(brach’s)Indian corn(the chocolate candy corn) pumpkin mellowcreme’s,candy corn taffy, and Kraft caramels. I actually was standing there trying to rationalize buying 4 bags of candy.You know,I’m telling myself,they’re only 1.68 a bag, they’ll last you a long time, call it Halloween candy! For crying out loud that is 2 months away. I finally made it out of there with a bag of mellowcreme pumkins and a last longing look at the caramels, and made it all the way to the ice cream aisle.Yes, I came away from that aisle with black walnut ice cream.When I was sick last week, I lost 8 pounds, that is all back on needless to say. Now the next part is for Vicky.Larry is having surgery for a hernia,for those of you who don’t know,Sept 8th. He can do nothing physical, even hurts him to walk. So I am doing everything I can so that he doesn’t have to do anything. Bout to kill my dang self,too. It took me 3 days to get all of our yard and Dons yard(almost 4 acres).So I came in from mowing,hotter than fire,sweating like a bull moose,ripped my clothes off and headed for the shower. Larry was in there.So there I stood,”nekkid”,as the day I was born.Someone knocks at the door.I peek out,it’s my neighbor,I yell let me get some clothes on,run to the bathroom,grab my glasses,get a house coat and let my neighbor in. So much sweat and dust I can’t see out of my glasses,clean them,fix my neighbor a glass of tea,still can’t see out of my glasses,polish them this time.Still can’t see,take them off and it dawns on me, I grabbed my old glasses. Told Red , no wonder I couldn’t see, I grabbed my old glasses.He kind of laughs, and about that time here Larry comes down the hall”nekkid” as the day He was born,no hearing aid on so he doesn’t hear Red in there talking. I’m like um Larry , Red is here! The only thing that kept Red from being blinded by larry’s “glory” was the fact that he was sitting over at the table and couldn’t see down the hall.Larry says Well, I can’t find my glasses and I know I left them in the bathroom! I said you mean these!!and handed him the ones I couldn’t see out of. Red was over at the table dying from laughing, but I think he got the hint that I might be approaching “dangerous” in my old age. He said are these yours,and there were mine laying on the table by him. If I catch myself wearing Larry’s bloomers I guess I am going to have to talk to the girls about getting me a keeper.And how was your week?
